What am I really excited about in the Nashville antique/unique find/vintage shopping scene? The soon-to-open Antique Archaeology store, of course!
Mike Wolfe, a self proclaimed lifelong "picker" holds a reputation as one of the finest finders of special, historical, rare and funky pieces in the country. Star of the popular History Channel show American Pickers, which follows Mike and team on cross country buying trips, he also runs a successful business in Iowa. The second location of his Antique Archaeology store will be (conveniently for us) located near downtown Nashville in the old Marathon Motor Works factory on Clinton Street.
Scheduled for a late April opening, I'm confident this will be a huge success and welcomed boost for the Nashville antique scene.
