Antique-Inspired Jewelry: Pyrrha

Earlier today, my fabulous friend Rachel introduced me to a great line of jewelry, Pyrrha.  I've always admired intaglios, wax seals, crests and designs from times gone by.  This great brand takes these fragile pieces and gives them a fresh, more permanent life in sterling silver, bronze and gold.  Brad Pitt, Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds and Katie Holmes regularly wear Pyrrha.  These rustic yet beautiful designs are great dressed up or down.  A few of my favorites are below, the first one I just purchased for myself a few moments ago- exciting! Fun Finds: Linen, Light, Large Tote

I've come across a few great things recently I wanted to share. First up is my new shirt from Alabama-based designer Billy Reid. The black linen with contrasting white buttons and unique detailing quickly caught my eye. What makes it even better is that I found it on sale over 50% off!

My next fun find is this amazing Niermann Weeks light fixture. Usually I'm not a fan of reproductions, but this one is fantastic. It looks just as aged and appreciated as the European details that inspired this piece. At a cost of $5,530 it will not be hanging in my home anytime soon, but one can dream... 

Next is this handmade large canvas tote with natural jute base.  This would make a great beach bag or tote around the city to hold your laptop and books.  It's a steal at just $54, available on Etsy.

Summer Favorites

Vacationing at the beach this week has me thinking... what are some of my favorite Summer things out there now to share with you all?  Four immediately come to mind.

 1) The Perfect Scent

2) Affordable Accessories

Summer is the time of year when accessories need to be cheap!  Traveling and being outdoors opens jewelry up to the elements and the risks of being lost or damaged, so inexpensive is key.  Try these bracelets (and many more) from ASOS, all under $20.  

3) Over-The-Top Heels

Ladies, don't be scared to push the limits with your footwear.  Keep the outfit simple, then shake your tailfeather (quite literally with the Dior heels pictured below.)  Good luck finding a more perfect shoe! 

4) Summer Sweaters 

One trend I've noticed for guys is mixing the seasons up.  Try a light sweater on a breezy Summer night to add an interesting texture.  Pictured below is a cashmere ecru version from 830Sign.

Obsessed: BHLDN

I've said a million times before it's a good thing Anthropologie doesn't sell mens clothes because I am obsessed and would be so broke. Further proof is the launch of their new line BHLDN. 

Although wedding inspired, the site offers many pristine pieces that any lucky girl can enjoy. Amazing dresses, shoes, hair adornments, jewelry, lingerie and gowns are around every click. It's rare (almost never) that I say this, but I like every. single. thing.
